David Siegel, a native of Manitou Springs, is thrilled to be working at 88.7 KCME-FM. He is a senior at Palmer High School and an active violinist in the community, playing both classical and jazz music. As student and community outreach liaison at The Colorado Springs Conservatory, he works with community leaders to facilitate community performance and educational outreach. In the fall of 2007 he worked to produce an all-state high school only Battle of the Bands, and the event was a smashing success.

He hopes to pursue a career as a professional musician and will be auditioning this spring for placement at The Manhattan School of Music, Berklee College of Music, and The New School for Jazz, to name just a few.

In his spare time he enjoys cooking, rock climbing and telemark skiing. He lives at home with his two parents and 16 year old sister.
