Keith Kauspedas

Keith Kauspedas hails from Iowa, but ever since he picked up a book at the age of two describing Colorado, he knew that was the place to live. After spending thirteen years in the U.S. Air Force (GO FALCONS!) traveling the world as a Communications/Navigation Technician he decided a change was due. Following an honorable discharge in 1991, he spent the next few years as an electronic technician, truck driver, and aircraft servicer. His dream of living in Colorado came true in 1994 when he came from Omaha to live atop a mountain in Divide, CO. He now resides in Colorado Springs.

After sampling several careers, Keith finally discovered his true love: the broadcasting industry, particularly radio. After graduating from Pikes Peak Community College with a degree in Telecommunications Production in 2001, he landed his first gig at Pikes Peak Broadcasting as an overnight announcer. Eventually he joined the traffic department, via stints as production assistant and as copy writer.

Keith’s love of music (all genres) is proven by his extensive collection of records, tapes and CD’s numbering into the thousands—he currently has over 7000 songs downloaded into his iPod and his home computer has only one purpose: for dubbing and creating music. Keith also plays the piano, drums and bass guitar.

A single father of five beautiful children, two handsome grandsons and two mellow cats, his other interests are hiking and growing flowers.
