Nancy Whitford was born in San Francisco and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.  She met her husband Todd at San José State University, where she earned a degree in Advertising.  After working in the publishing industry for 6 years, she decided to focus on raising her two daughters.  This led to the decision to move to Colorado Springs—a great place to raise a family.  Nancy became involved with nonprofits as a volunteer, and when she re-entered the work force, she decided that was where her interest lies.  She has spent the past 3+ years in nonprofit fundraising.

When she’s not working at 88.7 KCME-FM, she spends much time cheering on the sidelines at her daughter’s soccer games, cross country and track meets.
