Bob Collins has, at various times, been an engineer, a teacher, a consultant, a computer programmer, and a project manager. On retiring from Qwest Communications in Denver, he found himself embarking on yet another career helping 88.7 KCME-FM with printed document design and web design, and claims to be busier now than during any of his previous careers.

Originally from Wales in the United Kingdom, he has lived in Canada and the United States. He has been a resident of Denver for forty years except for a four-year spell in New Jersey.

Having grown up in the heyday of BBC radio, he was exposed to fine classical music throughout his early years (he predates television!), so 88.7 KCME-FM's classical music fare lets him feel right at home.
