Founded in 1949, the Aspen Music Festival and School is regarded as one of the top classical music festivals in the United States, noted both for its concert programming and its musical training of mostly young-adult music students. The eight-week summer season includes hundreds of classical music events: concerts by three orchestras, recitals, chamber music, operas, classes, lectures, and family programs. In the winter, the AMFS presents recitals and robust music education programs for local youth and families.

Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble (CVAE) was founded in 1992. Under the direction of Deborah Jenkins Teske, the Ensemble has garnered praise for “flawless sound” and “courageous programming,” and been hailed as “a hidden gem in the middle of Colorado.” Now celebrating 30 years of steadfast commitment to artistic excellence and community involvement, CVAE believes that art thrives where it is planted.
CVAE’s annual concert series features traditional works and new music sourced from all over the world. Programming is carefully crafted and highly varied, designed to create memorable experiences for audiences. While a cappella singing is at the heart of CVAEs identity, collaborations have brought opportunities to explore a broader repertoire. Vital partnerships with the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs, Parish House Baroque, and the Colorado College Summer Music Festival have allowed for performance of such diverse works as Brahms’ A German Requiem, Menotti’s The Unicorn, the Gorgon, and the Manticore. and Stravinsky’s Les Noces. Other important collaborators have included the Green Box Arts Festival, Ormao Dance Company, Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale, The Denver Brass, and The Colorado Ballet Society.

Primary Care, Built Around People
At Pearl Primary Care in Colorado Springs, our physician-led team focuses on unhurried conversations, clear communication, and personalized care for each person.
Physician-Led Care
At Pearl Primary Care, medical decisions are guided by physicians who are directly involved in the care they provide.
Physician-led care means experience, clinical judgment, and accountability remain central to every decision. It also means care is not rushed, delegated without oversight, or shaped by volume-driven systems.
This practice was designed intentionally to support thoughtful medicine, clear communication, and long-term relationships built on trust.
Dr. Rachael Degurse, M.D.
Physician
Dr. Degurse is a board-certified physician who believes patients deserve clarity, agency, and a genuine partnership in their care.
She leads with conviction and thoughtfulness, combining modern medical knowledge with a grounded, human approach. Her work is guided by the belief that people are at their best when they feel heard, respected, and supported in making informed decisions about their health.
By choosing a direct primary care model, Dr. Degurse created a practice that allows her to focus on meaningful relationships, continuity of care, and medicine practiced with integrity rather than urgency.

Springs Bridal opened in 2011 to fill the needs of our community. Our owner, Susi, watched two of her daughters struggle to find a beautiful wedding gown on a tight budget with only weeks to go before the wedding. At the time, there was a lack of options in the area that allowed brides to buy dresses off-the-rack. From our beginnings as strictly a resale bridal store, we have grown to include new and orderable wedding gowns, with 700-800 wedding gowns available for immediate purchase. We also have hundreds of prom, military ball, and gala formals. To this day, whether it’s bridal or formal wear that you need, Springs Bridal strives to be accessible, affordable, and inclusive.
Peak Tuxedo (inside Springs Bridal) is a proud to be designated an Elite Dealer by Jim’s Formal Wear. We offer personalized in-store service for both rental and purchase options. Our prices for a full tuxedo or suit rental range between $110-250. This price is what you actually pay at the register, not some teaser price. Our packages include coat, pants, shirt, any color tie and vest, cufflinks, shirt studs (when needed), damage waiver fee, and sales tax. Shoe rental is an extra $25. Pocket squares are a purchase item at $8. Individual pieces can also be rented.
