The Broadmoor World Arena offers a world-class experience in the premier sports and entertainment venue in the Pikes Peak region. The 8,000 seat multi-purpose arena plays host to a diverse variety of specialty family shows, concerts, sporting events, comedy, and events like Cirque du Soleil, Disney On Ice, The Original Harlem Globetrotters, National and International Skating Competitions, Carrie Underwood, Jim Gaffigan, Elton John, Trans-Siberian (TSO) and more! The arena also features over 19,500 square feet of floor space, enough to contain an additional 2,000 seats on the floor. The Broadmoor World Arena and ASM Global, the industry’s leading public facility management company, finalized a comprehensive multi-year venue services agreement in Spring 2014.
Built by the citizens of El Paso County in 1982 to serve as a regional entertainment and cultural center, the Pikes Peak Center’s downtown Colorado Springs location was planned as a part of the economic revitalization strategy for the downtown business district.
Since its opening in 1982, the Pikes Peak Center has achieved international acclaim for its design and acoustical qualities. Artists and critics alike have been lavish in their praise of the Center. The Center hosts in excess of 200 performances annually. The Center is owned by El Paso County and operated by the Colorado Springs World Arena, a 501©(3) organization.
